How does Botox work?
Botox is injected directly into the muscles that cause the wrinkles to form. This non-surgical, quick and painless procedure works by blocking the release of chemicals that cause these muscles to contract and form the wrinkles. This causes the muscles to relax, smoothing out those troublesome lines, leaving you with a more relaxed and youthful appearance lasting for 4-6months.
Treatment involves a few, small, painless injections to administer the Botox. There is NO downtime required afterwards and clients can return to work immediately with no-one the wiser that they have had the procedure carried out.
How is the treatment carried out?
Typically, clients start to notice an improvement after 1-2 days with maximum effects visible after two weeks and lasting for 4-6 months. As the lines start to re-appear, all that is required is a simple re-treatment to maintain that youthful look.
